California square blend
This wine is a blend of 8 different lots and 5 different varieties. Each lot was harvested, crushed and fermented separately in order to coax the maximum flavor and texture from the grapes. Petite Sirah and Syrah form base notes of blueberries, cherries, chocolate, and spice, while Sangiovese and Zinfandel provide pure high tone, blackberry and raspberry jam. Merlot is the intermediary, filling in the mid-palate and offering ripe plum and juiciness to the mid palate and finish. These wines were artfully blended in such a way to bring a seamless harmony to the finished wine, while expressing the complex nature of the various components
This monster delivers signature aromas of an Okanagan Merlot: berry, cocoa, and cigar box with a hint of sage from the surrounding hills. The first nip brings on more Black Forest cake flavours of bing cherry, choco- late, and a hint of orange peel. Barton & Guestier Bordeaux
Intense and brillant red colour. Attractive nose developing intesense fruity aromas (blackcurrant, redcurrant) combined with spicy and toasty notes. Well-balanced and complex, with ripe fruit flavours and a long aftertaste.
